Real estate direct mail marketing is the process by which real estate agencies and brokers advertise their services using a real estate brochure of homes and prices, a real estate post card, a realtor post card with a photo of a trustworthy broker or a real estate door hanger with contact information for interested buyers. These forms of real estate direct mail are effective as they build recognition, bring in new buyers and maintain relations with past buyers.

Using a direct mail list broker (who rents target marketing lists of likely real estate market clients), a real estate company sends out hundreds of real estate marketing door hangers and real estate direct marketing post cards. A direct real estate post card (real estate marketing post card) gets eschews the need for third party media--the broker personally reaches clients rather than through indirect contact, signs or magazine ads, for example.
